The beautiful lady in this picture is none but my mother who inspired me to re-discover my passion in wearing sarees again .I always dream about creating uniquely patterned colorful sarees . Believe A dream about saree is a wonderful thing to have. I have never seen anything as beautiful as a Saree a person can wear in this whole world.I am glad my job is all about making this lovely dream come true.. A saree is a five yard painting woven with exquisite colors that can be worn by a woman. I hundred percent accept we , the women are blessed as we can only wear sarees . A woman becomes an elegant poem when she wears an exhotic saree.
My mother used to tell me lots of interesting stories about sarees When I was child. I wanted to gorw fast so that I can wear saree like my mother and float the pallu in the air like a colorful kite playing along with the wind. Now that I am a grown woman, being struck in a country like Australia that is thousands of miles apart from India, Where no one gets to see a beautiful saree let alone wear it ! Even when I took " my mission impossible " to buy a silk saree for my wedding anniversary , after visiting some Indian saree shops here in Sydney, Australia , All I could see was , some dreary and drappery looking sheets of textiles that thay called sarees ! They were hung in those smelly shelves with some haunted patterns and designs that they were screaming at me like " don't buy me and run away from here if you could please ". Of course there was some funny part. The price of them were exorbitant!!!
Ho I wish I was a child just wearing my mom's saree..! Then came this idea of starting my own "Butterfly sarees" venture with some people I trust who share the same great passion and love in designing sarees. In our journey to sell our Butterfly sarees , we don't compromise on the ancient tradition with which sarees need to be woven that often lack in designer sarees . Wolrd's Costliest Kanchipuram Silk saree ...
Shown here is the world's costliest Silk Saree worth Rs 40 lakhs. The saree was stunning and We are inspired by the designs like that and do our extensive research on sarees like this to offer better service .The saree studded with gold, diamonds, emeralds and other precious stones has been woven by the silk house's own weavers, which weighs around eight kgs.
The exceptionally stunning saree is woven with 12 precious stones and metals to depict 11 of Raja Ravi Varma's popular paintings. Besides already being recorded in the Limca Book, this saree has got a place as the first silk saree with the use of 7,440 jacquard hooks and 66,794 cards during the weaving process.
Moreover, a group of consummate workers took nearly 4,680 hours to complete the work. The company says that apart from entering the Limca Book of Records, it will try to enter the Guinness Book as well. It took 30 weavers around seven months to make the saree.
Important :- We do make custom designed silk sarees and silk zardosi bead work sarees upon request. The cost of the custom designed sarees can be in the range between US $300 and US $2000.
